The Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) is a non-profit association established in 1984, and is comprised of an international network of companies and professionals dedicated to the advancement of the electronics industry through education and interaction.
The SMTA International Conference and Exhibition is held once a year, and is considered to be one of the strongest conference in the electronics assembly industry. SMTA International attracts influential executives, managers, designers, reliability experts, process engineers, and technologists who are shaping the future of the electronics assembly industry.
4 Star Electronics is proud to be a long-standing member of the SMTA, and to participate in the annual Symposium on Counterfeit Electronic Parts, held in conjunction with the Center for Advanced Life Cycle Engineering (CALCE) and the University of Maryland.
